Hosts may benefit from the Lebanon Locals Host Guarantee Program, which is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below. These Host Guarantee Terms apply in addition to the Lebanon Locals Terms of Service and the Payments Terms of Service.

The Lebanon Locals Host Guarantee

Lebanon Locals agrees to compensate you, as a Host, for the repair or replacement of your property due to covered damage, subject to the limitations, exclusions, and conditions specified in these Host Guarantee Terms.

In order to be eligible to receive any payments for covered losses, you must fully comply with all the requirements and conditions outlined in this policy. Failure to do so may result in denial of reimbursement.

You agree to use your best efforts to communicate with the responsible guest (the “Responsible Guest”) as soon as possible after discovering any physical damage or loss to your property. You must also notify Lebanon Locals and the Responsible Guest about your complaint, and attempt in good faith to resolve the matter directly with the guest.

This notification must be made within the earlier of:
(i) fourteen (14) days after the Responsible Guest’s check-out date, or
(ii) prior to the check-in of your next guest.

This obligation can be fulfilled by submitting a claim through the Lebanon Locals Resolution Center.

You further acknowledge and agree that any compensation you receive under the Lebanon Locals Host Guarantee will be reduced by any amounts you have already recovered from other sources for the same covered loss, including but not limited to:

  • Insurance policies, guarantees, or indemnities

  • Security deposits

  • Payments received directly from the Responsible Guest, their invitees, or other parties, including insurers or guarantors

The Host Guarantee is not intended to replace homeowner’s insurance or similar protection, and does not cover all possible losses. It is designed as a limited supplemental protection program offered at the discretion of Lebanon Locals.
