Host Protection (Host Guarantee)
Lebanon Locals offers a Host Guarantee Program to help protect eligible hosts against property damage caused by guests. This policy is subject to the terms and conditions outlined below and applies in addition to our [Terms of Service] and [Payments Terms of Service].
What the Host Guarantee Covers
If a guest causes physical damage to your property during a confirmed stay, Lebanon Locals may reimburse you for repair or replacement costs—subject to the conditions, limitations, and exclusions outlined in this policy.
The Host Guarantee is not insurance. It is a supplemental protection program offered at our discretion, and does not cover all losses. You are still encouraged to maintain your own homeowner’s or rental insurance.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for reimbursement under the Host Guarantee, you must:

Be a registered host on the Lebanon Locals platform

Report the damage to both the guest and Lebanon Locals

Attempt in good faith to resolve the issue directly with the guest

Submit your claim within the earlier of:

14 days after the guest checks out, or
-
Before your next guest checks in

Submit your claim through the Lebanon Locals Resolution Center
Other Sources of Recovery
Any compensation received through this program will be reduced by amounts recovered from other sources, including:

Insurance payouts

Security deposits
-
Payments received directly from the guest or third-party guarantors
What’s Not Covered
The Host Guarantee does not cover:

Normal wear and tear
-
Cash, securities, or personal liability
-
Damage from pets, natural disasters, or intentional misconduct

Bodily injury or theft of identity
-
Damage to shared or common areas not under your control
This policy is meant to provide limited, good-faith financial protection—not to replace comprehensive insurance coverage.
