Some hosts prefer to manually review booking requests—and that’s where “Request to Book” comes in.

Here’s how it works:

1. Find a listing you like

2. Click Request to Book

3. Fill in your payment details

4. (Optional) Add a short message to your host

5. Hit submit!

The host will have 24 hours to accept or decline your request.
You’ll be notified once they respond, and you won’t be charged unless the request is accepted.
